Volkswagen’s radiusrod was a heavy-duty design that didn’t need much improvement. However, over the decades rustoften deteriorated the threads so badly that they can’t be used for caster adjustments when it comes time for an alignment. This exacerbates their other problem; theoriginal arm isjust a bit too short togive enoughadjustability forproper alignment, especially on lifted Syncros.Additionally, Syncro owners that want to update to lower control arms that feature the serviceable lower ball joint insert found it difficult to track down this style of radius rod for the project. No longer! GoWesty Engineering for the win!

Our version maintains the strength of the original arm, while introducing some changes that improved the arm and keptthe price reasonable:
An extra inch of length ensures that lifted vans can be aligned properly.
Atwo-piece split design with an end that fits both left and right keeps these affordable.
Fully zinc coated to improve longevity.
